Hey Hey! Welcome to EPISODE 2: The Basics on Beauty and the Bible Podcast!

I'm so excited that you're here! My name is Lauren and I love Jesus with my whole heart. I am praying that the Holy Spirit speaks through me on this podcast to show my love and how much we all need Jesus.

In this episode, I relate 'basic concepts' in makeup and relate it to 'basic concepts' in our walk with with Christ. I will explain here as well - 

Step 1: Clean your face / Have a clean, fresh, open-mind for God 

Step 2: Primer / Jesus tells a parable (story with a Heavenly meaning) in Matthew 13 that seeds planted with good soil were able to produce fruit up to 100x greater than what was sowed (planted)

Step 3: Foundation / Our foundation and knowledge comes from the Bible! Helpful verses that were included are 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 4:12, John 8:31-32, Psalm 119:105, John 1:1, 1 Peter 1:24-25

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 says, "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come"

God has already chosen who He has called to be His child. *Are you going to choose Him back?*

If God has been tugging on your heart lately, this is His way of telling you to choose Him. Pray, repent, believe, and ask God in salvation through Jesus Christ. He will set you free!
